Inspire: Celebrate Ageing

Dr Catherine Barrett, Director, Celebrate Ageing, Victoria
This interactive session begins by exploring the evidence and the felt sense of living in a world that is ageist (gerontophobic) - to make our cultural values about ageing apparent. Then participants are invited to help create a space where ageing is valued - and to note how their experience shifts. This activity is critical for anyone interested in age friendly communities, respect for older people - and getting the most out of their own life.

Exchange: A rural perspective on Age-Friendly Communities

Dr Kathleen Brasher, Age-Friendly Advocate, Consultant and Researcher, Victoria
