Branches and Networks

Local Government Professionals Australia WA has 12 Branches and 10 Networks in Western Australia who meet throughout the year.

Branches are formed based on regional locations and Networks are formed through areas of expertise.
Each Branch and Network has an Executive Committee, which includes a President and Secretary for the former and a Chair and Secretary for the latter. To join a Branch or Network, you must be a member of LG Professionals WA.

Branch meetings provide an opportunity for local government officers to meet colleagues from neighbouring local governments. LG Professionals WA helps set branch meeting agendas and plan and develop forums and workshops.

Networks enable us to develop discipline-specific and tailored conferences and events and create peer networking opportunities just for you. LG Professionals WA assist in coordinating network committee meetings and facilitating speaker engagements for events.
