The LG Professionals WA Finance Professionals Conference attracts local government officers with financial and corporate responsibilities and aims to inform local government practitioners of the latest financial management practices.
There are a variety of partnership opportunities available at the 2020 Finance Professionals Conference.

Why support the 2020 Local Government Finance Professionals Conference?


The Local Government Finance Professionals Conference is your opportunity to access Local Government finance directors, managers and officers.

The Conference is marketed to LG Professionals WA members and non-members within local government with financial and corporate responsibilities. The Conference aims to inform Local Government practitioners of the latest financial management practices, share best practice between local governments and to encourage networking between finance professionals.

Conference delegates are served their coffee breaks, lunch and pre-dinner drinks in the trade display area, providing a number of great opportunities for you to meet and talk with them. Attendance at the conference dinners and social functions will also extend your opportunities to establish personal relationships.

Remember, many of the delegates attending the conference are looking for quality suppliers who can demonstrate an ability to meet Local Government needs. If you are serious about selling to Local Government, this is your opportunity to access the key finance people and decision-makers in the industry by supporting the event.
As this Conference is very popular with industry and trade partners, it is recommended that you book early to avoid disappointment. In 2019, all exhibition booths sold out months in advance.

Keynote Partner

  • The opportunity to introduce one of the opening or closing keynote speakers at the conference. You may include a 3 minute address on your company during this time. (No Powerpoint please.)

Structure of the Conference

The Finance Professionals Conference starts on Thursday morning and finishes on Friday afternoon.

About the booths

LG Professionals WA chooses to use enhanced booth designs for all Conferences. 
All booths are 3 m x 2 m. Each exhibition booth contains: 

  • black wall panels—Velcro compatible
  • rear light name fascia (signage)
  • two spotlights
  • one power point
  • dressed Trestle table and two chairs
  • existing venue carpeted floor. 

Two booths can be combined for a cost if more space is required.
Company representatives must be employed by subscribed corporate partner.
Trade and exhibition booths must be registered under a single company name.
Each additional company representative will be charged $300 and there is a limit of 4 registrations.
