Pandemic ripple effect on communities - readying ourselves for change

Online webinar

As Western Australia emerges from one of the most profound emergencies we have experienced since WW2 we pat ourselves on the back for a job well done. We look on in horror at the death toll and upheaval in other countries and thank ourselves and good leadership in averting the same tragedy here.

Forget about the 'new normal' apart from personal hygiene on our radar and wariness of large crowd close contact, (and distant travel of course) we seem to be back to normal here in WA.

What we might not be aware of it the tsunamic ripple effect that will/has come from this global emergency and how it will affect our communities so profoundly into the future. Readying ourselves to work with and among our communities coping with these ripple effects will be the greatest challenge that Community Development has ever faced.
Are you ready?
