Lewis Winter has worked within emergency services and emergency management for over 40 years. Over his time he has worked for and with communities understanding the fact that emergency management 'IS' all about communities. He believes having a community confident in their ability to look after themselves and in turn look after one another is the key to our future in this troubled turbulent world we live in.
For the past 9 years Lewis has been engaged by Charles Sturt University lecturing in emergency management for undergraduate and post graduate degrees. He also consults and advises privately for Government bodies, here and overseas, as well as private industry on all facets of emergency management.
Lewis has researched extensively networks within Australia and overseas around what communities can expect as they get buffered by wave after wave from ripple effects of COVID-19 pandemic crisis.
