9.45 am  – Opening Keynote Address:

Russell Ord and Shanan Worrall

Russell Ord and Shanan Worrall are battlers...and survivors - in both physical and emotional environments. The boys from Margaret River in WA became great mates after Russell saved Shanan's life during a wipeout on an offshore wave the size of a building.
Previously witnessing two Great White shark attacks in quick succession had robbed Shanan Worrall of his love of the ocean; the one place he's found solace in his battles with mental ill-health.
Russell Ord had always been the silent 'keep it to yourself' kind of guy - until now. During his 19-year career as a fireman, he was called to the aftermath of many car accidents. Then one too many changed him forever. The pair will share their story of emotional resilience, painstaking preparation and training, huge waves, great scenery, sharks the size of a car...and a simple message - stay calm...be prepared...will leave you breathless.

1.00 pm  – Storybook (Networking Workshop)

Shil Shanghavi

Across professions, organisations and businesses alike, relationships and networks underpin everything that we do. For many of us, networking can be a rollercoaster of emotions - of anxiety, nerves, and fear of being unable to communicate, articulate and hold a meaningful conversation.
Shil knows exactly what it's like to experience these feelings. Despite working in business development roles over his entire career, Shil has always been a self-confessed 'fearful networker'. He developed the concept of Storybook - where he uses the art of storytelling to build courage and establish rapport with any audience.
Shil will guide you through practical ways to create your own individual Storybook.
