Exhibitor Terms and Conditions

  1. If an Exhibitor fails to comply in any substantial respect with these terms and conditions:
    (a) Local Government Professionals Australia WA may sell or reallocate the Exhibitor’s allocated booth space; 
    (b) the Exhibitor is to be liable for any loss suffered by Local Government Professionals Australia WA as a result of the Exhibitor’s failure; and 
    (c) all monies paid by the Exhibitor are to be forfeited to Local Government Professionals Australia WA
  2. If an Exhibitor fails to occupy its allocated booth space by the advertised opening time of the event, Local Government Professionals Australia WA may arrange for the space to be occupied in whatever manner it considers to be in the interests of the event, without any refund or compensation to the Exhibitor and without releasing the Exhibitor from any liability. 
  3. An Exhibitor must not erect any sign, stand wall or obstruction which, in Local Government Professionals Australia WA’s opinion, interferes with an adjoining Exhibitor. 
  4. The Exhibitor must not damage any walls, floors or ceiling of the exhibition area in which its stand is located, whether by nails, screws, oil, paint, or any other way. 
  5. Local Government Professionals Australia WA will not be responsible for:
    (a) any loss of, or damage to, any property of an Exhibitor; 
    (b) any damage claimed by any person who may be injured while in the space allotted to the Exhibitor; or 
    (c) any economic or other loss sustained by the Exhibitor. 
  6. The Exhibitor undertakes to insure, at their full replacement value, the contents of its stand and all associated equipment and materials. 
  7. The Exhibitor is responsible for the safety of its products, display and stand and agrees that, during setup and dismantling, the contents of its stand and all associated equipment and materials, will not be left unattended. 
  8. Without the written consent of Local Government Professionals Australia WA the Exhibitor must not sublet, or allow anyone else to use, its allocated booth space. 
  9. ‘Event promotional material’ refers to brochures and any other material that may be distributed regarding the Conference. It does not include delegate satchels.
  10. All representatives of an Exhibitor must be employed by the Exhibitor.
  11. Trade and exhibition booths must be registered under a single company name.
  12. Each additional company representative will be charged $300 and there is a limit of 4 registrations.
