Jonathan Pain is a Director of JP Consulting NSW Pty Ltd and has 35 years of international investment experience, having led investment teams in London, Bahrain and Australia.

Jonathan holds a joint honours degree in Economics and Politics from Keele University and a master's degree in finance from Exeter University.

The author and publisher of a widely read investment newsletter, The Pain Report, he is well known for his contrarian views and is a regular guest on CNBC and Sky Business TV and speaks at conferences and seminars all around the world.

In 2006, Jonathan highlighted the unsustainable levels of debt and the housing bubble in America, and his warnings of the impending crisis have been acknowledged by respected commentators such as Alan Kohler and Graham Rich.


Emma Johnson is the Chief Executive Officer of the Corruption and Crime Commission, a position she has held since May 2023.

Ms Johnson has held various leadership positions in both State and Commonwealth Government agencies, across a range of areas including integrity, national security and law enforcement.

Prior to this role, Ms Johnson was an Assistant Commissioner at Australian Border Force, responsible for ABF operations in Western Australia and South Australia and for ABF's maritime surveillance capability.

Ms Johnson was previously Deputy CEO at Sport Integrity Australia and Co-Chair and expert advisor to agencies and initiatives such as the World Anti-Doping Agency and Play by the Rules.

Ms Jonhson is a graduate of the Australian National University, with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Psychology. 


Simon Longstaff began his working life on Groote Eylandt in the Northern Territory of Australia. He is proud of his kinship ties to the Anindilyakwa people.

After a period studying law in Sydney and teaching in Tasmania, he pursued postgraduate studies as a Member of Magdalene College, Cambridge.

In 1991, Simon commenced his work as the first Executive Director of The Ethics Centre. In 2013, he was made an officer of the Order of Australia (AO) for 'distinguished service to the community through the promotion of ethical standards in governance and business, to improving corporate responsibility, and to philosophy.'

Simon is an Adjunct Professor of the Australian Graduate School of Management at UNSW, a Fellow of CPA Australia, the Royal Society of NSW and the Australian Risk Policy Institute.


Roanna is a Ballardong and Whadjuk woman who is delighted to be back living on Noongar boodjar (country) after spending much of her life living in regional Western Australia. This included the Mid West and Wheatbelt as a child and the Kimberley as an adult.

Roanna's professional journey began as a cadet journalist at the Geraldton Guardian, before turning her hand to radio as a trainee in the ABC's sports department ahead of four years producing and presenting ABC Grandstand's flagship shows out of the Perth office.

Since 2011, Roanna has worked largely in Aboriginal Affairs in a variety of roles. This included time as a Media/PR representative for the nation's most powerful Aboriginal Land Council based out of Darwin and almost a decade in the utility industry working for remote and regional government trading enterprises - Horizon Power. She is also the Chairperson of the Aboriginal Lands Trust and serves on the board of directors of her beloved Swan Districts Football Club in the WAFL.

Roanna is a lover of people and their stories and her conversational style delivers engaging interviews and panel discussions for any type of audience.


After many years in senior management roles working for an international bank in Jersey and Singapore, Rob relocated to Australia and within a year or so, started his own mortgage planning business. Seeking a little more adventure than that afforded by running his own business, Ron joined his local surf club.

Paddling his surfski on the Indian Ocean with his local surf club, Rob couldn't help wondering what it would be like to just keep going. After researching lots of different ocean adventures Rob settled on going for a world first. To be the first person to row non-stop and unassisted from Australia to Africa.

With plenty of surfski and sailing experience, but zero ocean rowing experience, Rob learnt to row from the internet. Just a few days our, many miles from Australia and facing severe seasickness in a leaky boat, Rob turned and headed for Exmouth, but just two hours into heading back he turned around again and headed on spending 86 days at sea before reaching the shores of Africa. She served as the PR & Communications Director for Skal International's Perth Chapter form 2012-2015 and was a Dame de la Chaine in La Chaine des Rotisseur from 2012-2016. She has also served as the Marketing & Communications Manager for Leederville Connect and was a WA State Advisory Councillor for the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI WASAC).
