With this in mind, coupled with feedback received from the sector regarding procurement, we are excited to be launching a 6-month Premium Procurement Advisory Services and End-to-End Contract Development Services pilot in Partnership with John Filippone from Procurement Plus.

Local Government Subscription Discount
Local Governments who are Bronze, Silver or Gold local government subscribers of LG Professionals WA will receive a 15% discount when engaging with Procurement Plus for the provision of these services.

Premium Procurement Advisory Service
The purpose of the Premium Procurement Advisory Service offering is to provide the local government sector with detailed procurement advice of a complex nature which may require substantial review of documents and/or procurement practices, and the drafting of papers and reports.  Examples may include the review of procurement documentation such as procurement plans, tender documents, purchasing policy, procurement procedures, and contract management framework. It may also include the review of procurement and contract management practices within the Local Government.

About John Filippone
John is a procurement professional and the Director of Procurement Plus. A consultancy business that he established to deliver procurement and policy advisory services to State and Local Government, Not-for-Profit organisations and small business enterprises.

John has an extensive background in procurement and contract management, policy development and advice, and project implementation. His extensive experience as a senior executive in the State and Local Government sectors has led to his direct involvement in many high-profile projects and contracts over the course of his career.

With more than 25 years' experience developing and managing contracts across the energy, ICT, general goods and services and works environment John has experience of the full range of procurement processes. He is well placed to share his knowledge and direct experience with local governments.
