Webinar - OAG Better Practice Guide: Western Australian Public Sector Financial Statements

The Office of the Auditor General has developed a Western Australian Public Sector Financial Statements - Better Practice Guide.

The guide promotes better practice principles for financial statement preparation in the state and local government sectors and is intended primarily for Chief Financial Officers, Finance Managers, and financial reporting staff.

Join us for this informative webinar which will provide an introduction to the guide focussing mainly on the principles, challenges, strategies, and tools relevant to smaller entities.

The extent to which different entities refer to the guide can vary depending on factors such as size and complexity of the entity, the experience and expertise of their finance team, and the maturity of their financial preparation process and their audit committee.

Local government entities should interpret, customise and use the guidance in the context of their own entity's circumstances.
