The focus of the conference will be on learning about the work of age-friendly communities in Australia and internationally, including regional, metropolitan and rural locations.

In an age-friendly environment, many sectors of society collaborate to help older people lead meaningful and fulfilling lives. The government, local governments, universities, non-profit organisations, community groups, and health providers all play a significant role.

The conference aims to inspire delegates by showcasing best practice examples and will feature inspirational speakers from a range of local, national and international organisations, who will highlight successful age friendly strategies and initiatives that have contributed to the success of age friendly communities around the world.
