LGIS is focused on the long term protection of Western Australian Local Government through a member-owned industry-based self-insurance scheme. Our goal is to work with our members to protect them against potential risks and proactively provide solutions tailored to their needs. Risk management underpins the success of the LGIS Scheme, providing good governance as well as ensuring protection for WA Local Governments. A comprehensive risk management support program is provided as a complimentary benefit of LGIS membership in the areas of professionals risks, liability risks, property risks, occupational safety and health, human resource risks, and allied health services.
