Mid West Branch and Communications Network Event:

Communications Come to Town

Communication is King! Tools, tips and tactics for excellent communication, whatever your profession.

Effective communication creates trust, builds relationships and helps your community be informed and heard.
Whether or not your job title formally includes communications, we all have a responsibility and opportunity to communicate well - and there are plenty of ways we can help you do this.

The Mid West Branch and the Communications Network are pleased to come together in Geraldton to help empower local government professionals of all disciplines to add to their communications tool kits.
Hear presentations from communication experts sharing insights and practical tips, and seize the opportunity to ask the panel any burning communication questions.
Rounding out a packed day of professional development, the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries will present an update on Local Government Reform, ensuring you are across the most significant issue currently informing the local government sector.
Finish your day with a networking sundowner and connect with peers and friends to try out your newly minted communications skills.
